Our team of professional driving instructors are certified by the Ontario Ministry of Transportation (MTO) and dedicated to creating safer roads in our province. Sign up for our Ministry Approved Beginner Driver Education (BDE) Course and become a safe, confident & collision-free driver!
Umar Driving School has trained thousands of beginner drivers and seen them successfully graduate from the BDE program. Our full BDE certification course includes the mandatory 20 hours held within the classroom or through independent online e-learning, 10 hours of flexible instruction, and 10 hours of practical in-car training. In addition to the requirements for certification, you can also use the driving instructor’s vehicle for your road test examination and take extra practice sessions as needed. Our driving school courses are available year-round and offered on weekends through the fall and winter. We also offer 4-day holiday classes and week-day courses throughout the summer. For your convenience, our courses are offered both online and in-person!

The Driver’s Licence History provides proof of successful completion of and graduation from a BDE course and is widely recognized by the insurance industry as proof of course completion. BDE graduates with a DLH are eligible for an insurance discount.
